Gracefully dancing along the challenging waves of life. (DRUK HIPHOP DANCER ).
Why does Hiphop matter to you? Do you feel that Hiphop has become such an integral force in today’s world? The ones who feel empty inside and find solace in music! The ones who are considered as the black sheep of the family and need to vent it all out in the form of a medium.
The ones who don’t get appreciated and often face dilapidated state of self esteem. Take some time and reflect if it truly signifies something.

“Dancing was the last thing I ever thought I would get into.I was 7 years old back on those days. It all started in 2003. I started dancing after I saw one of my late uncle Mr.Dorji wearing snap cap on it, gliding his feet backwards which was branded as “Air walk.” I was fascinated by his sleek moves so I urged him to teach me this trademark motion. I haven’t looked back since I learnt this newly found interest. It started as a hobby and I gradually saw myself grow through practice. “Practice indeed makes us perfect.”

Dancing stimulates our mind and comprehensively raises our fitness level. I love to keep myself fit because it makes me feel good about myself.
“Yes, I have faced many criticisms so far. These people rebuked me by passing hurtful comments. Some of these were-
1. “You have no future as a dancer.”
2. “You are too immature to actually believe
you’ll accomplish something by
dancing.”
3. “You are just trying to gain unwarranted
attention.”
4. “Oh,look at that irresponsible guy with the outrageous gangster-like outfits.”
Everything said and done, we look at those exemplary people who turned their back on naysayers and tuned their lives forward. Charlie is one, such person. Dedication and focus are the key ingredients, the only mantra and the lone recipe to attain a successful path towards one’s objectives. Let us all honor him and take a glimpse at Charlie’s amazing achievements.

MESSAGE TO THE YOUTH .
My life revolves around dancing and dancing happens to be my life. I have sacrificed a lot to get to this stage. I always practice to perform and perform to practice again. It’s a vicious cycle, a system and my comfort zone that I am not always a part of.
“So guys, don’t get disheartened when you can’t gain everything immediately, just chill out & practice hard to show what you have got.”
